Recently, the Delhi administration announced a pilot project to develop four roads as model roads. The target is to ensure that these roads are encroachment-free and have smart traffic management systems.

All kinds of obstruction and illegal parking will also be removed on these stretches. Soon the residents will be able to travel to South Delhi directly from Greater Noida through an elevated corridor. The feasibility study has been done by the Public Works Department and it had proposed an elevated corridor over Yamuna River. The proposed plan shows the corridor starting from Aali village road and National Highway 2 and ends at Noida-Greater Noida expressway crossing Yamuna.

The corridor will move parallel to the railway track before crossing Agra canal in the form of a bridge. The major portion of the corridor would be an 8-lane with the provision of cycle track and footpath.
